PDS™ Plus Suture, 2-0, 27", Violet Monofilament, CP-1 Needle is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of polydioxanone and coated with the antibacterial agent triclosan. This monofilament suture is designed to inhibit bacterial colonization on the suture material, providing a localized antibacterial effect and reducing the risk of surgical site infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, MRSA, and MRSE.

The violet coloration improves intraoperative visibility, aiding in suture placement and control.
