PDS™ II Clear Monofilament Suture, Size 5/0, 27", with FS-2 needle, is a sterile, absorbable synthetic surgical suture composed of polydioxanone. It is a monofilament suture designed to provide extended wound support and minimal tissue reactivity. The clear, undyed construction allows for less visibility in delicate closures where aesthetic outcomes are critical.

This suture is intended for soft tissue approximation, including use in pediatric cardiovascular procedures, ophthalmic surgeries, and general soft tissue repair. The 5/0 size delivers fine control with moderate tensile strength suitable for delicate closures such as subcuticular, mucosal, and ophthalmic tissues.

The FS-2 needle is a 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle, engineered for use in dense or keratinized tissue.
