The Sure-Snap® Hypodermic Safety Needle 18G x 1 Inch is a sterile, single-use hypodermic needle designed to support safe and efficient medication administration while reducing the risk of accidental needlestick injuries. Engineered with a pivoting safety shield, the needle provides dependable protection after use and is suitable for hospitals, clinics, physician offices, laboratories, and other healthcare settings. 

The 18-gauge, 1-inch regular beveled needle is designed to provide smooth tissue penetration and reliable fluid transfer. Its pink color coding enables rapid gauge identification, helping healthcare professionals quickly select the appropriate needle size. The precision-ground bevel supports consistent injection performance while maintaining patient comfort during routine medical procedures.

The integrated Sure-Snap® pivoting safety shield features a flip cap that helps keep fingers as far as possible from the contaminated needle immediately after use. Following medication administration, the safety shield can be activated with one hand by pressing the cap against a firm surface until an audible click confirms secure locking. The cap may also be closed manually using the thumb, with textured ridges providing additional grip and control during activation.
